The minimum entrance requirement for any programme is Grade 12 or equivalent. If a potential student wishes to enroll without Grade 12, they are required to write a Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT). This test must be completed within a 3 hour time period. The test consists of Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Spelling, Math and Language. There is no “pass” or “fail” to the testing, but indicates the Grade level the individual is working at in each area of testing. The minimum Grade level in the required areas must be Grade 12 or above. 

 

Various courses may require prerequisite certifications before registration is completed. These may include the ability to be bonded, a police security check, a medical certificate, inoculations and reference letters. These requirements will be specified at registration.
